Hi, I’m Claudia! the heart and hands behind Keep a Hug.I started Keep a Hug because I believe clothing can hold some of our most meaningful memories. A favorite shirt, a baby outfit, or a piece of clothing from someone we love can carry stories, love, and moments we never want to forget.Through Keep a Hug, I transform those meaningful pieces into handmade Memory Bears, keepsakes you can hold, hug, and treasure for years to come.Each bear is carefully sewn with love and attention to every detail, because I know how special these memories are. My hope is that every Memory Bear brings comfort, connection, and a beautiful way to keep those memories close.

Every Memory Bear from Keep a Hug is handmade with love from your clothing, turning meaningful pieces into a keepsake you can hug forever 💛What We Need:
2–3 adult shirts or 10–12 baby items
All clothing must be pre-washed

Materials Needed
To create your Keepsake Banner, I’ll need pre-washed clothing that holds sentimental value:
1–2 clothing items per letter
For “HAPPY BIRTHDAY”, a minimum of 13 items is required
Custom Fabrics & Themes
Want a banner to match a specific theme? I can also create banners using fabrics I purchase or pick from store options. Themes could include: dinosaurs, flowers, favorite colors, or a particular vibe. Photos of fabric options can be sent to help you choose.
